I'm sure everybody has seen this kind of report before but I have to share with somebody. First at 22,000 miles I pulled the spark plugs without a hitch. I started a week ago with a cold engine as recommended and had so much squeaking and moaning of the first plug that I chickened out and called a couple of mechanics. The quote was $200 upfront plus the cost of removing any broken plugs. It was looking like I could have a $600 bill in no time so I tried it again myself with a warm engine. This time five of the plugs came out like they were buttered and the other three just needed a little patience and an extra shot of carb cleaner.

As soon as I was done withe the plugs I installed a JLT CAI with tune from Brenspeed. I just got back from taking it out on for a test drive. It makes me feel like I want to stand up and dance with BOTH feet. It is everything everybody said it would be. Throttle response, shifts, acceleration are all significantly improved. Since I still have a tank full of 87 octane that is what I tuned for. Next tank with be 91 and retuned. Thanks for listening.

Good stuff!

I remember doing the plugs on my 99 made a huge difference. Sometimes you don't realize how much you needed them until you change them.
