I'm currently installing a NX kit. I know you should not use platinum, copper, or fine tipped plugs, but is anyone running any Denso Iridium plugs with nitrous and if you are are they colder plugs or just regular. I currently have the Denso's and I had O'Reillys order the Motorcraft AWSFA-12c which I've had multiple people suggest as the best type plug for nitrous. They won't be in for a week though.

denso plug

Denso plugs are a hotter plug. The material used on denso,s burns hotter than plat. : dont use this plug for nitrous.

Most people use an autolite or ngk plug, one or two steps colder for nitrous.

I dont know anyone running a motorcraft plugs on nitrous.

You want to keep the heat down in the cylinder. Since retarding the timing is difficult to do: a colder plug will help.

The AWSF-12C are two heat ranges colder than stock. They will work perfect for what you want. Run them gapped at .035. Another good choice would be NGK-TR6s (1 step colder) or NGK-BR7EFs (2 steps colder).
