So the thread in my sparkplug is wacked Out. It keeps on spinning not actually loosening so what can I do to remove it. I already purchased a helocoil just need to get the old plug out but don't know how to. If you have any feedback please let me know ASAP. I think I'm running on 7 cylinders right now

I don't think so bc I'm using a spark plug socket the one with the swivel on it

Check to make sure there isnt any debris in the cylinder that is down by the head of the sparkplug. I had a similar issue once and a little stone had fallen down in there keeping the socket from fully seating on the plug. If there is something in there you can blow it off with a little compressed air.

Accell=Crap. Get your money back...............that being said, you can fry a coil by leaving the ignition switch on for a long period of time, coil has power to it and it just sits there and cooks.

You have to verify that the ignition coil does not have power to it when the key is off first. The only way for a coil to cook is if there is power to the coil and the engine is not running.

If you need to repair the threading in the head, you need a timesert, not a helicoil

hat's because the spark plug is NOT the problem. It's either the coil or a wiring short that is burning the coil out.

And get rid of the Accel coil. Nobody makes an aftermarket coil better than the factory part so don't waste your money. Get your money back from whoever you bought the two Accel coils from and get the electrics tested and fixed before buying a new coil.

I'm guessing I should flush my MSD coil idea down the crapper?
