I don't think so bc I'm using a spark plug socket the one with the swivel on itI would not Recomend a helicoil once
you get it out , read the horror stories on them... go look for a time sert kit you'll thank me later .
As far as getting it out are you sure the plug isn't stripped where the socket goes ?
im pretty sure the socket is all the way in i even had my neighbor try his socket and it was a no go.double check that the plug is really seated all the way in the plug socket especially if the socket is new. i had this happen to me the other weekend.
Thanks bro I got It off there was a plastic peice in the way but I have another problem the new coil that I got caught on fire and I don't know why. It was a accell coil and it has happened to two of those coils. Idk what is going on any idea.Check to make sure there isnt any debris in the cylinder that is down by the head of the sparkplug. I had a similar issue once and a little stone had fallen down in there keeping the socket from fully seating on the plug. If there is something in there you can blow it off with a little compressed air.
I switched it out with diff plug n it still blew up. I'm lost broAccell=Crap. Get your money back...............that being said, you can fry a coil by leaving the ignition switch on for a long period of time, coil has power to it and it just sits there and cooks.
