I've checked the message board history for people who have purchased brake packages from Speed Concepts...and while there is some positive feedback about them, there seems to be quite a bit of the opposite. I ordered brakes from them in October 2004, and have still not received the brakes or a refund. The only person I've ever talked to there is Ken Hobson, who I've seen mentioned on this forum a few times. Over a month ago I finally got a hold of him and he apologized, said they were issuing me a refund, and never did.

Does anybody have a physical address for Speed Concepts? Anybody that's ordered from them, or returned anything to them...a return address on anything would be a big help.

Also, anybody who's also in the same position, please let me know. I'm definitely not going to let them rip me off, so maybe if there's a few of us we can really do something.

Thanks.

I ordered from them brakes and they were back ordered and Ken didn't tell me until I contacted him 2 weeks later for an explanation. My $$ was refunded in a day or so and that was the end of it. I ordered from a local place called PPI that sponsors my local Mustang club.

Wow! I had $830 worth of stuff in my "cart" on that website last Friday. I decided to put off the purchases for a couple more weeks and I sure am glad that I did!!

I'm really sorry to hear that man. I've had horrible experiences with speed concepts. Worst service EVER. I tried ordering an o/r H pipe from them last December and I wanted 2 WEEKS, and didn't get it in the mail. So I called them, and could not reach them for 1 week, I kept trying. Finally, I got a hold of them and they said, "sorry it's on back order." I was so f'n pissed, I told them off and told them to cancel my order.

I will never deal with those folks again.

Bringing this thread back...almost two months after I placed my order and still no brakes and only received BS automated email responses. They don't pick up their phone and they don't reply to emails.

BLK 95.0 did you ever find an address or resolve your problem?

Anyone know what I can do to get in touch with them?

I'd recommend that you do not even try -- go directly to your credit card company, immediately. If you wait too long (six months IIRC) then you lose the ability to dispute the charge. Obviously these jokers aren't going to send you the parts you ordered, so I think you should just forcibly get your money back and go elsewhere.

Ken posts on a board I frequent.. under the screen name "006"... I sent him a PM to give attention to this thread.. and since I've had good luck buying parts on many occasions.. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt...

Hope this gets resolved...

Wow, I'm in the same boat, I ordered my front cobra brakes through them. I knew they were on back order but I wasn't in a rush. Now they're moving and changing all their info up. They sent an e-mail to my work addres with their new info.
