my speedometer took a crap... as much as i love saving miles its kindve annoying not being able to tell how fast your going... what are some things to check? thx
The cable runs right by the exhaust.....I've burned up two of them over the years. You can get them for less than $20 with the cable housing, as that is what burns up, but it can be a PITA to install it if you have not done it before.
spdeedo cable is the biggest culpret, also the speed sensor which is what the cable goes into at the tranny can also take a crap. I've had both things go worng on my car in the past
