Hi i was wondering if anyone has one of these gauge pods? I am installing Autometer Ultra Lite ll mech. temp gauge and boost/vac guage in it. They don't really fit tho, the boost gauge fits but it is tight it kinks the tube and the temp gauge wont fit in it all the way at all! If anyone has any help please let me know. Thanks

do the gauges still have the copper studs on the back? that's the first thing i did was to cut them off. as far as the boost gauge, you can get some smaller adapters maybe?

Which pod do you have? This one? This one says 2-1/16" Gauges, kinda an odd size.

Ya that is the pod i have. The gauges are the right size round. The boost gauge is just too deep with the fitting on it and the temp gauge has the tube already hooked to it can't take it off, its too deep to. The copper studs are still on PRO but they don't hit. I am gonna call SOS. It says that they are made for Autometer gauges too??

Actually the 2 1/16" = 52mm and is the standard for most gauges.

FWIW, Alan is a member here. I haven't chatted with him in years but he always treated me very well.

Ya he seems like a pretty good dude. I talked to him for 15 mins or so. He said they have a new prodauct coming out that they have been working on this week. Its a Plate to put gauges in under the radio or to delete the radio all together.
