This question is for all with an N/A 2.3
What's the fastest speed you've got your N/A 2.3 up to?

Don't know. There aren't any roads around here that are straight and long enough.

Oh boy...here we go again.

110 or so on flat ground...you could probably get 115-118 on a slight downhill with the wind...better have 3-4 miles to spare though.

Ha, 85 is the fastest I've gone, I was afraid to take it past the limit. I haven't gotten up past 75 in almost a year because I'm a since I got my speeding ticket (74 in a 55). Lately when I get to around 65, it shakes real bad. Hopefully new tires within the next few weeks will solve that problem.
My family goes to the poconos a lot because we have a home there, I'd like to get a 140 MPH speedo, some Pony's/Cobra R's or something with good tires because there's a nice straight stretch on route 402 that I've been dying to let it rip on.

Rader detector dude

Fastest i've gotten mine up to was about 93. It could've gone faster I believe, but it dropped speed when i got to that. I think my has a speed limiter.

I'd make sure that everything is very sound on your car before you try these high speeds. Remember everything is 10 times worse when your over 100 MPH. I had my car up to 125 racing a guy up the Sisques in Norhern Cali. I wasnt topped out, the winding roads/car full of clothes and a TV and Weight set (I was moving down to AZ) restricted me. Mine is turbo though I was only running 9 lbs. at the time.

When my LX was still n/a I could peg it against the tripmeter button, don't know how fast that was.
Put a donut spare on the rear and see how much quicker the speedo moves!
It was fun to jump empty car carrying trailers, 60' in the air while waving down at soccer Mom's in their SUV's, that's still a fond memory - until my wife saw me one day.

radar detector is a waste of money. They only work if the cop is rolling around with his radar on. Unless he got someone else, By the time it goes off its already to late.

My father got pulled over doing 122mph in a 91 tempo he used to have. It was on the freeway, very slight down hill. He was on his way to a big fire so he never got in trouble, but he still has the ticket.

I had gotten to 108-110 in my NA, that had to be within 5 mph of top speed since it practically stopped pulling. Might have had a little more, but I didn't have the nuts to stay on it that long.
Funny thing is that since I got the turbo, I havn't gone any faster than that. It is still pulling descently at 110, but that just seems fast enough.

I've come about a 1/4 of an inch from the peg on the trip odometer. I'm assuming thats a little over 100, I could be wrong. I've been meaning to get one of my friends to drive next to me while I do it to see what my actual speed is.
