speedo broken

What causes the speedo to stop respoding. I peeled out and I had no reading on the speedo. I do have a speed cal for the gears but have had no problem with those since install.

Can you unhook it and bypass it?

did you check to see if the cable had come loose from the back?

I pulled a code of 511 which means it can't read the PCM right. I wonder if the speed cal is doing all of this. I also have a chip so maybe they are clashing.
