Greetings all. I've noticed within the last month or so, that when I'm driving (with no radio on, etc) I can hear the speedo-cable rotating where it plugs in to the instrument cluster. I'm curious if I can put some sort of grease on the cable myself (if so, what grease is recommended?) or perhaps WD-40 or PB Blaster?

Edit: I see some people recommend White Moly type grease.. any opinions?

Check with the local auto parts store for some graphite speedo cable lube.

You are supposed to only lube up the bottom half of the cable so that the lube doesn't get in the head unit.
