Ok, I have searched, and I believe that I need to lube this bad boy up. What is the easiest way to do this? I read where JRicker said to only lube the bottom. Is this true? How can I get the lube in there from the bottom? Just pull the cable out of the trans, remove the gear and spray some white lithium up in there?

If I need to pull the cluster apart, do I need to pull the end out of the tranny to pull the cable up? Do I just unhook the gear and pull from the top gauge cluster end?

Step by step instructions would be great beacuse I am an idiot when it comes to this. LOL

That is what I have done in the past, if your speedometer is "clicking" though the cable might not be in to your cluster all the way. you shouldnt have to disconnect the cable from the trans to pull the cluster, but it would help with to give you some more slack, sometimes getting that sucker back on to the cluster can be a pain in the butt. hope that helps.
