Speedo Question From A Newb!

Just brought my 88 5.0 LX Vert home last night! Noticed the speedo was WAYYYYY off. It has 3.73 gear is that the issue on it? or is this maybe anothre common issue. Thanks I'm sure this will be one of many questions. I'm sorry if these is a prior thread, I didnt see it.

Thank for the direction, I knew it had to be gear related. whats bad is that I see its in my Auto trans and not really changeable.

It should be just about the same as changing a speedo gear on a t5 manual.
