Speedometer guru's

Ok guys 91 LX after about 60-65mph the speedometer goes nuts. Just kinda glides around toward 100 when i get below a certan mph say 60 it locks in. Does this sound like the ints cluster gears being shot? Or the cable and/or speedo gear in the tranny..

I would check your speedo gear in the tranny. I had to replace mine cause of diffrent gears in the car. When I had the tranny out the other day the gear was all chewed up and looked like it had just been spinning doing nothing else.

yeah check the gear, maybe get a new one they are around 10-20 dollars
