Here is my problem. My speedometer bounces around mostly at higher speeds. When I had my gears done I put in a speed-cal. After having the car tuned for the gears I pulled out the speed-cal but the speedometer wouldn't work. It seems once the little red clip in the connector was taken out and the put back in it wouldn't make a good connection which would cause the car to stall. I decided to wire in a new connector and the speedometer works but bounces around and will occasionally drop to 0 and then go back up. I wired it in two different ways and the third time I soldered it up but its no better. Would I be better off just putting in a new harness? It seems to be worse when its hotter out. Any tips would be appreciated.
