Can you use the stock spindles when upgrading fox brakes to cobra brakes(twin piston caliper 13" rotor) I want to finish this project soon! Any help is much appreciated!
LOL! NO, not a stock Fox spindle. The Cobra brakes use the SN95 spindle. There is/ was a Baer? kit I think that used the Fox spindles, but why when the SN95 is a much better design. READ http://svo73mm.cjb.net .....Matt has all the answers on his pages.
Ok now that I got my stupid question that I already knew the answer to (had to be sure) Where in the world can I get these things for a resonable price everyone wants a fortune for a set!
Try www.car-part.com for some yards that might be close by or at lest not too far away to ship them to you. One guy on here got the complete front setup, spindles, calipers & rotors for about $110.....SHIPPED! Bargains are out there, you just have to spend some time looking. I can get the 99+ complete setups with the good base PBR calipers rotors, spindles and lines for about $130 locally.
Man I appreciate the offer but I really need sn 95'S I will take your advice though! I already have the PBR Cobra calipers and 13'' Brembo rotors, and Apex KEV pads just need the lines and spindles. All of you guys are a big help though! Thanks
That was just an example of what you can find. I bought many sets of 94-95 spindles with hubs for $30-45 each and resold them on ebay for $150-180 for the set. (financed my 5 lug conversion that way ) But they are getting harder to find reasonably priced.
i found mine on ebay, gt calipers, rotors, brake lines for 180 shipped. I took my time waiting for a good deal so i dont know what you should do in your situation.
