Is this true? What do u mean by lose the sound? You mean they're too quiet with a catted pipe? Or do they just not sound as good? I've always considered buying a set of spintechs, and I was gonna do it when I switch out my exhaust for some longtubes and a h-pipe. But I have to have cats living in california. Maybe i'll just stick with my flows.

i think im gonna order a set soon. Anyone know how they sound with the stock h-pipe or should i order one of there off road x-pipes too? I wish the tail-pipes werent 100bucks a piece. oh well who needs em

trust me, i have my spintechs on my car with stock H pipe and the 4 cats and it SUCKS! i lost all sound although everyone says they sound alright. i told them it sounds like a rice burner compared to how it used to sound. made my neighbors happy!
the spintech website also states that their pro streets are only the best with O/R pipes and they recommend those.

yeah the sound isn't only due to the mufflers...the headers and mid-pipe matter too. An off-road mid-pipe will make any exhaust louder, so it's not unique to spintech's. Not sure if there are any clips over at www.mustangxhaust.com or not, but you could look if so inclined...

my mustang is boosted in that video, whoever said they dont work with turbos is out of their minds... its a free flowing baffleless muffler, how could it not flow superb? I like watching my video too.. lol, I'm glad I made it, we were just sitting around with the camera and we got the idea to go deface the new road surface.

hahaha One time a few years ago I pulled out of my driveway into the main street doing some major tire smoking, and unknowingly I did it in front of a cop, I saw him behind me coming up so I took a left onto another street doubled back to my street into the garage and into the house and went to sleep, lol.
