I have an 86 harness for converting my car to EFI i was going to use a mass air harness but i have came to the conclusion and after talking to guys on foureyedpride.com, that the 86 is easier. Anyways i have some question on splices
The Red/green-goes to the ignition switch on my 84
The Darkgreen/yellow- negative on coil
Black/orange Alternator- Battery side of silenoid
Red/green-+side of coil
I know where to run the fuel pump to also with the inertia switch.
My question is, are these all the splices i need to make it run? Here are the autozone diagrams to reference if anyone has questions, maybe Jrichker or Tmoss, you could check and help me out.

http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiB..._us/0900823d/80/16/71/3c/0900823d8016713c.jsp
It is the 1984 8 cyl diagram
and the 1986 8 cyl EFi diagram
Some other questions would i have to splice the 86 harness into my AC controls? IS there anything else that I need to worry about.

You can use the 86 harness then buy the mass air pigtail for it and and convert it that way... Thats what im doing with my 84t-top project. I may be wrong but i think there is more that your going to have to change here then just splice this and that.

I know i need to change the intake and stuff that is obvious i was talking to a guy that converted his 4 banger 86 to EFI and that is what he told me, he said since his car was carbed that he had to splice everything because nothing plugged in? i dunno that is what he said that is needed to run because the 86 is the bare minumum harness compared to later model harnesses

I think the 86 harness will fit right in. And if im not mistaken your gonna have to change the fuel pump and lines too. your gonna need the harness going to the fuel pump too. Dont splice do it right the first time..

I have all of the fuel pump wiring that came out of the 86 i dont want to fudge anything. It also has the inertia switch that goes to the harness, i think i will get a new relay for the fuel pump i dont remember if the 86 harness has a fuel pump relay on it. I robbed a 87 of the whole fuel system a v-8 car I am going to go ahead and put a new 255LPH pump in for future mods. Anyone else know about the wiring? does it look to require anything else.
