Spoiler Mod - Pics

Attached 2 Images, one showing the stock position of the spoiler and the other showing the new moved back position. I used two of the original holes and drilled 4 more, total move is about 2 inches or so.

That's nice! I wish the 02-04 had the same spoiler. I like those better than what I have on my 04.

NO YOU DON'T!!!! The 01-04 spoiler can be replaced with a Steeda Race wing lickity split and look hella cool. The factory 99-00 wing is a pain to replace with something else.

the holes that arent re-used are covered by the tips of the wing. silicone can be used on the holes inside the trunk for extra protection.

Yeah, I like it alot, I didnt fill in the old holes doesnt seem to be much of a problem, it just rained and no water got in the trunk. I think i netted like 10 rwhp from this mod and that should be doubled when i put the flowmaster stickers on too.

Well, have to agree...it looks sleeker IMO than the 02-04's. Plus we can move ours back....02-04's can't.

Why??

You drill new holes through a plastic composite deck lid. There's nothing to rust and any water that runs through the old holes just runs into the same channel that water off the back window runs out of.

I did this mod and ran my car through 3 NY winters to boot. With absolutely ZERO issues of any kind. Just drill new holes so the wing still covers the old holes and forget about the original holes. Mo water can get into the trunk from the original holes.

This is an easy no money mod that significantly improves the look of the car.

Yes, you can do the same mod to the 02-04 spoilers also.
