Does anyone know of anyone who is willing to sponsor an sn95 mustang w/ a 5.0 engine and lots of mods, mostly suspension and drivetrain (including rims)? any advice would be helpful, my site for the car is here. The only things that I dont have pictures of yet are the crossdrilled and slotted rotors and my handmade diamond plate floor mats (took over 5 hours to make both because I can't afford nice tools. Thanks

the cars i see with sponsors have a lot of the owner's money invested before the sponsors come. participating in car shows and talking to the company reps. remember, sponsors have to believe they'll get their monies worth from you (in advertising) before anything else.

Rotors

I didnt drill my own rotors but I got a great deal on them, I got all four rotors for 150 off ebay. I tried installing them, but they had to be machined down first, but now that I have them on they look sweet and work even better. I got them on ebay, if you search for mustang crossdrilled and slotted rotors, you should find some for a good price. Mine are from a company called Vbrakes, if you get those make sure theyre machined down before you install them. I cant find a picture of them, but the guy was selling a lot of them on ebay. Any other questions about their quality, you can email me at [email protected]

sorry to say it but you need A LOT more than what you have to get a sponsor... If it was easy to get one I think everyone on here would have a 9 sec car right about now :)

Yeah you dont really have near enough done. Those are just the basics.

BTW-- Love the color of your car. :nice:

Put together a business proposal. And when you do, keep in mind that you have to write it to convince whomever that they will benefit from sponsoring you. List out the shows/races you will attend and how you will advertise for them at these events. If I were I sponsor my 1st concern wouldn't be what you have done to your car but what are you going to do to make me more $$$. Who has done all of your work? Some local hot-rod shops do sponsor (basically a discount on parts & labor).
