spool for daily driver?

Lookin on ebay.. and found a mini spool for an 8"..

Anyone reccommend against not getting it for a daily driver?

don't even think about it. Your just looking for trouble if you do.

Having your car hop around turns and twisting axles is all it's good for on a street car.

I'd pass for a driver by all means. Avoid it. If you will type in spool on the search feature you should find plenty about them. A spool basically allows no variation in the wheel speed...they both turn equally at all times which can make the vehicle abit squirrely in the rain, turning hard, etc. A locker might be an option for you but its somethin you need to get used to and maybe practice with in a wet parking lot. My recommendation is for a limited slip so it will allow much greater safety in bad conditions but still give you posi.

ok.. yeah my bro's z28 had a spool in it.. turns were ok.. but not great.. wasnt sure if a "mini spool" was different from a full spool.. he put a locker in it.. and it was better.. So locker it is!.. thanks guys
