Maybe I'm just retarded, but I can not get these Eibach pro kit springs in. I have the control arm all the way down, and still no luck. I even tried a spring compressor, got it in but could not get the spring compressor out. Any help would be appreciated.

What pro kit? Lowering kit or Drag Launch kit? It's much easier to unbolt the control arms from the k member and swing them down that way and put the spring in... Then you can jack up the control arm much easier.

Eibach makes a kit called the "Pro Kit"....thats the name of it. I did mine just the way you described it, with no spring compressor.

im assuming you're talking about the front springs being a PITA. i installed all 4 springs myself and found it to be a MAJOR pain. this is what i did...after getting the spring out i reconnected everything the way it was like it had a spring in it, then i dropped the 2 ears in the rear of the control arm. pop the spring in through the back and it will compress vertically, not at an angle. it's like 50000000000 times easier than doing it while it's at an angle. then jack it back up carefully and reconnect everything. i tied the spring to the frame the whole time just for extra safety.

I usually put my fronts in w/ 5ft pry bar. Works great........not very safe. IMO if you do it that way, chain the spring to something under the car just in case it does let loose. If I remember correctly there was a thread in the 5.0 talk section a few months back about a kid putting lowering springs on his stang, it ended up poping out and killing him.

yeah i had to trim 1 ring off my front drag springs. then i took a skinny spring compressor and installed it inside of the spring and put it in. then i found a way to take it apart while inside the spring LOL! it was a pain but it worked

what i did was use the inside spring compressor but i shortened the bolt that tightens the arms of the compressor.after you get the spring in and in place you can lossen the comp and drop it through the hole in the control arm.
