springs and isolators

You guys that lowered your cars, did you use the stock isolators, get the polyurethane isolators, or just leave them off for a lower drop? Whatever you did please let me know and how it came out. Post some pics if you can. That would be great.

No isolators, just black electrical tape wrapped around the bottom and top coil.

I used my isolators when I installed my Roush springs.

I took the rear isolators out with my stock springs though.

Seriously, use electrical tape on the top of the coil if you do.

i got both poly's in the back (stock lowers were torn to shreds) and only the stock uppers in front

the H&R Sports sit almost dead even and this way it brings back a slight rake, almost unnoticeable, but better than it did before

I replace my isolators with poly. The isolators they took off were in decent shape and could have been reused.

I re-used the stock ones with C springs.

H&R SS w/ new energy poly isolators= perfect look.. plus no scraping yet (fingers crossed)

If you have a 99-04 car...they should still be in good shape. I would reuse them.
I bought polys for my 91 notch when I replaced the LCA's because the stockers were rotted. I didn't notice any difference in the ride quality. I didn't take measurements either, but Im sure it sat up 1/8"-1/4" higher.
