Sputtering Issues..Need Advise

When car is warmed up and has be driven for 10 miles it will start to sputter ..Also for the very first time the car started to pop not back fire but make a poping noise when given it some gas up to 4k rpms after being driven for a few miles .
Never had this happen to me i was wondering what it is or if anyone has had issues of this kind

Car is an 89 LX fuel injected mass air

Yeah my dad told me to check my cap/rotor...wires should be ok ....Codes ? like at the local parts store . Its just weird the car has never done this

i see 90mustangGT covered all the bases but is your check engine light on and how long since your last tune up that would include fuel filter a dirty fuel filter can cause this type of problem too...

Last tune up was like 8 months ago but the car only has like 3k miles on it since then ..

No check engine light comes on when this happened
..... as far as the fuel filter not to sure, but the car won't do this cold when she is cold i can take her to 6k on all gears but after she heats up then she'll start acting up... and i can have her sit for like 15 minutes and then shes back to normal ...running hard with any hic-ups maybe it won't happen again but it did two days ago... that or its this damb texas heat
