I recently purchased a 01 GT about 2 months back. Long story short i decided to hose down the car and sprayed the engine compartment. Now for the past two days it has been sputtering at low rpm, i noticed it on the highway doing 55 trying to accelerate in 5th. I have tried filling the gas tank with high test thinking it may have been water in the gas tank. I check all the connections under the hood. Maybe i missed something?

On another note, I am new to the modular 4.6. My 01 doesn't have spark plug wires. Does it have plugs, distributer, etc?

You haves COPS (Coil On Plugs) You probally got water down in the spark plug hole. Can cause it to miss really bad.

try spraying some compressed air by the plugs. see if any water blows out. your other option is to pull the plugs out and with all the COPs disconnected turn the motor over and see if any water blows out of the holes. i know when my boddy got his 04 kenne bell'd mystichrome dynod they had to do that after every few pulls cause the ice on the blower was melting and getting the holes all wet.
