Sqeak

If I turn the wheel right only, i hear squeak squeak. It also happens when i go over a speed bump. Thoughts on how to fix this annoying embarrassing problem?

Just as a side note to mustang owners, i got two compliments this month, one at a gas station, and one at a stop light "Hey nice car" I was quite suprised since its a 2001 GT and getting older. Anyway that made me feel good, they probably liked the sound of the exhaust if anything... So as you can tell i dont want to say thanks and then drive off and squeak squeak, haha.

Sounds like it might be your ball joint.

I vote for ball joints as well. Some other member a few months back had the same problem, and he did tie rod ends and rack bushings...still had the squeak.

I had similar results .. Replaced the rack bushings and tie rod ends and the squeak actually switched sides. I then got some spring isolators from MM and installed them. That stopped my squeaking.

Ball joints are a definite possibility though ...
