Squealing in Tranny? clutch maybe?

I have a steady squealing inside my transmission I think. When the clutch pedal is out then the squealing begins and is noticeable inside the car alot, but when I press the pedal in then it stops. Any ideas what this could be? I am thinking maybe the pilot bearing is going bad or somthing. I really have no idea. Any help would be great

Why would I need that on a stock car? And, is that going to fix the squealing and how?

because the stock adjuster sucks!!! it will fix it because it will allow you to adjust the cable, so the throw out bearing is not always touching the pressure plate, cuasing the TOB to spin the whole time your driving, you can get them for about 40-60$ depending on where you look

not rely, the hardest part is the quadrant because it is above the gas pedal, you just got to move your seat all the way back and kind of slide up there on you back

So i dont need to replace my clutch and throwout bearing and all?

i would recommend replacing the TO Bearing. There are a lot of after market ones but the Ford ones seem to hold up the best.

Yepper... Just went through the same thing. My throwout bearing went bad. Just replaced the clutch. Might as well.

Do i have to replace all this now or will the car run ok with it sqealing? Do i need to replace it all just because of some squealing?
