I have a bad squesking noise coming from under my hood im thinking its the ac pulley becuase as soon as i turn my ac on the noise goes away i turn off the ac and the noise comes back. what can i do
also i have a 8rib kenne bell setup

Those tensioners need replacing every 100,000 miles or they will squeal. What kind of belt do you have, I changed my belt to a gatorback and no squeals so far. Sometimes the bearings in the water pump will squeal if there is a bubbles in that area. Bearings squeal when there is no lube and belts squeal when there is lube.

The sqealing goes away when you turn on the A/C? Yeah, sounds like something do do with the pulley - sounds like the clutch doesn't like freewheeling when the compressor's not turning. I believe a bad A/C pulley bearing would cause that - when the clutch engages the pulley is locked to the clutch and compressor shaft so the bearing wouldn't be spinning (relative to the shaft and pulley) so it would stop squealing.

i had an idler pulley squeal like no tomorrow, for a while i would just spray some lithium grease, but it got really bad and had to replace it, def would want to get that replaced soon, last thing you would want is for a bearing to blow apart while on the highway.
