Squealing Noise

Just got through replacing my flexplate and converter... got rid of the grinding noise i was getting.... but now im getting this squealing noise when i accelerate from about Idle-2500... it doesnt seem to do it after first gear... but it sounds farther up than the trany

have some one sit in the car while it is running (parked).. have them press the gas.. and see if you can tell where it is coming from.. I've had that problem before.. turned out to be my bearings on my Idler pulley were worn.. I'm sure with some one sitting in the car pressing the gas you would be able to find out where the sound is coming from. if it is not doing it in neutral and only in gear I would go back and check over what was just worked on for any wear or anything in general that may look out of place or just not right..

Well i know my x-pipe was leaking i couldnt tighten it to the headers good enough because i couldnt find my deep socket (bought a new one today fixin that tomorrow) It makes your normal leaky ticking noise... but would it make a kind of squeal??... It sounds like its right in between the block and flexplate... i just replaced the flexplate and had someone spin the damper with a wrench while i checked to make sure there was no rubbing.... lubed the belt... didnt help

Ok so i tried to get under the car and have someone rev it to figure it out but that didnt work because i discovered it only makes the noise in gear when the car is moving.... meaning i can have my foot on the brake in drive and rev it up and it doesnt do it but if i accelerate it does... is there any way i was supposed to adjust the shifter cable or anything when i reinstalled the tranny... woud that be the problem?
