Squealing problem

This actually isnt about my mustang 5.0 its about my 97 Explorer 5.0... but im have some bad squealin comin fomr the belt and pullies.. just chekin to make sure but if im not mistaken that just means the belts loose right??

are you sure that you dont have an accessory or idler pulley locking up or it is it just a little squeal?

Constant squealing.... almost souds like i gotta loud turbo

Based on the little info, I think Troy is on track. Look for a pulley that has a bearing going south.

A mechanic's stethoscope works well for finding noises like that (be real careful around heated, moving engine components).

Tensioner and idler pulleys (if applicable) are places I look first.
