lately my clutch has been making a squeeking noise when the clutch is pressed quickly. it sounds like its coming from the clutch pedal area right below the steering coloumn etc. i tried to wd40 it and it helped a little for a little while and now its back to same loudness. its really starting to get annoying and i am not sure what else i could do. does anyone have experience with this? thanks alot for the help.

u sure? i had a through out bearing that whent out in my v6, and with that it was totally different. their was a noise when the clutch was out and it wasnt a really screetching noise. when the clutch was pressed in, the noise whent away. in my v6, i also felt the clutch going/ not working properly. now, it seems like its fine....
i want to get a blower soon so i know i need a heavier clutch but what if my clutch goes out before i get the blower? is it okay to put it in sooner or no? hopefully i wont have to replace my throught bearing but if i do, i will just replace the whole clutch kit and everything...

Yea i shouldve read more carefully. That doesn't seem like the TO bearing. But while you're changing out the clutch, you might as well get a new TO bearing for 35 bucks and install it too. Also look into getting a new hook quadrant and cable. It could be the stock quadrant or maybe simply the pedal itself

yea i really dont want to change out the clutch yet but if i do, i will ofcoarse get a new through out bearing. its kinda of hard to tell where the sound is coming from because their isnt enough room to stick my head down their and have someone push the clutch in....
does anyone else have any ideas as to what this could be or what else i could do?... thanks..

I heard this in a friend's stang and was the TO bearing. He said when he changed it the inside of the bearing fell out in pieces. Is the pedal rough going down?

My TOB started as a squeek and progressed into a grinding squeel...
