I just purchased soem mustang inserts form mustangtuning. I live in RI and was wondering how the insert hold up to the cold weather in the NE. I know they are stainless steel but I have a license frame that was ss and it look like crap after the winter. I know this is not a tech questions. I do not plan to drive in snow but I will drive some days after when the roads are better, but there still may be soe sand or salt on the road.

Good question. I never really thought about it but i have SS inserts on my Silver GT so i guess i'll find out in a couple months.

I don't plan on driving the car in the snow/slush anyway, i have a ruck i will be using, but the car will be outdoors.

I wash my car weekly so i won't let anything accumulate on it for long periods

You will not have a problem with them - they are guaranteed for Live ....

I have friends up here in Toronto that have had my letters on their winter driven mustangs for 5 years ....... Perfect as the day they got them
