Finally found a good coupe to start with. I've been collecting parts for a while. I'm finally getting close to being able to start the process. First here are some before pics(let the pain begin).

looks like a fun project! definitely keep us posted! i like those calipers as is man, don't paint them! what are the plans for the engine?

As of right now, I'm just gonna do some basic bolt on stuff. This go around I'm gonna focus on getting the suspension and drivetrain all done. I want to get all the kinks(if any) worked out first. Then, maybe the 351w that's laying around here or just a turbo. Who knows! However, in the end I'm really just leaning towards a really clean and simple coupe with some mods. I've got some other projects waiting for me when I decided to get crazy:nice:

I cant wait to see the Saleens on the car, I love white cars with white rims. :nice:

In the meantime you can hit the headlights with some rubbing compound or metal polish, thats what I've been using until I can get new headlights. It always turns out pretty good, but you still have the little bit of tarnish inside the housing that you cant get to.

Thanks for the comments guys! I am planning on running 275/35/18. The tires that I have in mind seem to run smaller than other manufactures with the same size. I have already test fitted this wheel size and tire size on another stang without any issues. We shall see!

Got the headlights in today. I also modified the headlight housings and the stock harness to accept the 9007 bulbs(94+) instead of the 9004s(87-93). I'm waiting on some stealth bulbs(for the park lamps). They should clean them up even more.
