Head gaskets are being done this week as far as I know. Aiming for a dyno day the second week of this month. So hopefully not longer. Decided to have the shop do the work. Did not want to spend my vacation wrenching on the car and not knowing it something else really stupid would get messed up. But hopefully it will be all together and going soon. Ported eaton with 2 liter rotors(gt500). Has potential to put 570-600hp and much lower temps....... we will see

I called Big Moose last week to find out what the hell is going on with my bike. The guy in charge didn't know that I had signed over the insurance check a month ago so none of the parts were ordered and no work was done. I was pissed.

That sucks Bryan. So how much longer now til its fixed? Who's going to Tasca day August 12-14? I know Worden said hed try but im sure hes forgotten about it

I wish I could take credit for the blower idea. Unfortunately not mine but at least I get to see if it works

They told me that they have 85% of the parts. The others are back ordered. Calling Tuesday for an update.

beat the snot out of it. That is just what you do with rentals. I remember renting a mustang 2 yrs ago in Arizona and beating on that thing. Burned the tires a little before I brought it back plus I accidentally hit some rocks on the undercarriage while off roading in Monument Valley. Ah that was fun.
On a similar note I am getting a loaner on Monday because my car has to go in for some work on the paint. The paint was peeling around the sunroof opening. Just got it 1 year ago. It had been in a couple of months ago for work on the sunroof so I wonder if the tech damaged the paint while repairing the sunroof. Well the repair and rental are covered under the warranty.

Well all the parts are in and hopefully the repairs will begin soon.
Didn't get the rental yesterday. Went to Pape at 7:20am and the jackoff behind the counter said that I was supposed to have called him to confirm the appointment. My wife confirmed the appointment while she was on the phone with him and I was in the room! I hate when people screw up stuff like that and blame you. I was not happy. Now I have a confirmed appointment next monday.
