I had to attach that to one of the bolts that go through the floor to make it work. I just felt it was better insurance to run a cable straight to the motor like originally intened by Ford. I want to make sure I don't have any electrical gremlins like many others have run into after relocating the battery. I also ran a 4 gauge wire from the battery post to the bolt holding the box to the floor. THen I took some more 4 gauge and attached it to the same bolt that sticks up through the lid and ran the other end of that wire over to my shock mount. Its good to be well grounded.
I want to make sure that I have plenty of contact and low resistance. A little over engineering doesn't hurt.
That 1 gauge is gonna make sure that there is plenty of current flow.

i had problems with the surging idle. Put a idle plate on it and helped out alot. The part is only about $20. Its a simple little plate that goes between the IAB and the trottle body. It has 2 screws on the sides so you can let more air into the engine than the IAB would by its self. My car wouldn't idle before. IT would keep stalling on me unless I turned up the idle screw or kept my foot on the gas. It sucked. First I would make sure that you douche out the IAB with some Carb cleaner then gently clean the wires inside the mass air meter with some BRAKE cleaner. The sensor wires are very delicate and mine were coated with oil and crud from my K&N filter. Dan_Soprano said:Ok boys, I got the Plasma Booster installed. At first I figured that it wouldn't be that noticable, but WOW!! The install was pretty strait forward. When I first took it out of the box, I was like, "this is it!!!!???" Big difference!! The low RPM hintching is gone, and she pulls quite a bit harder too. The throttle response is nice too. I am def. impressed by it!! I'm sure my results are far better then you would notice in a N/A car, do to the fact of the blower. I'm happy!!
