I don't want to sound like a dink, but you can't use a polish made for alum on chrome. Alum polishes has abrasives in them. Thats how they work. Lucky you didn't just start goining nuts on the polish. You did the right thing and tried a small spot. That polish will work good on getting that scratch out of the snout on the blower. Though, I don't think it will completely get it out.

the coil covers ARE aluminum buddy!! God, do you really think I'm that stupid? I think they were coated with a clear laquer or something. I plan on getting a bench grinder here soon, so I'll get the buffing wheel for it. That'll Git-R-Done!!!

Wel ya!!! I wouldn't try to polish my underdrive pullies. They are aluminium also. Though, they have a clearcoat on them...

Just finished ordering a bunch of stuff I need. Gaskets, fan brackets ect. No bling bling. Still have a bunch of stuff on my list that I will eventually get. Just need to get it back togther and running. The new axles and bearings will have to wait.
