2.95a gal for prem here. The prices arent going up slowly either. usually .10 at a time

I just got done replacing all the lifters in my car on the passenger side. I had one start ticking, but couldn't determine which one with just the valve cover off running the engine. So I ordered all 16 of them and started at it. I found one collapsed one on clyinder 3 exhaust. Let me tell ya changing those things in the car without removeing the cams suck. I had to borrow a Ford specific tool from a dealer my friend works at in order to push down the valve spring, remove the finger follower and the replace the lifter. I had a keeper fall out of the valve on clinder 4 and spent about 3 hours trying to get it back in. You just cant get your hands our anything in there under those cams. Especially in the back by the firewall. I almost removed the camshafts!
