I just got done replacing all the lifters in my car on the passenger side. I had one start ticking, but couldn't determine which one with just the valve cover off running the engine. So I ordered all 16 of them and started at it. I found one collapsed one on clyinder 3 exhaust. Let me tell ya changing those things in the car without removeing the cams suck. I had to borrow a Ford specific tool from a dealer my friend works at in order to push down the valve spring, remove the finger follower and the replace the lifter. I had a keeper fall out of the valve on clinder 4 and spent about 3 hours trying to get it back in. You just cant get your hands our anything in there under those cams. Especially in the back by the firewall. I almost removed the camshafts!

Well me, Mike S., and Chris met at Mike's dyno today. Some impressive results!! After an hour cool down, I put down 587 rwhp, and 519 rwtq SAE. It's amazing how much timing these cars pull when the IAT temps get up there. The air was GREAT for dyno pulls today! My uncorrected #'s were 612 hp, and 549 tq. I'll let Mike tell everyone what he put down after his cool down!

What the hell is it w/ me and getting nails in tires

Im sure everyone remembers the nail in the tire on the dyno over in scarbrough, and then the nail I got in the new set of tires I put on the stang after the Steeda rims, I had a nail in the front tire. And now this...can I catch a break?? It must have happend on the last ride I took before I went to N.C. I wanted to get a new set of tires anyway but not this way. Oh well just sprung for a new set of Michelin Pilot Power's for $235.

O.K., here are the numbers 618rwhp, 571rwtq We could not get to the bottom of the oil leak, so I think I am just going to take it to the dealership and have them pinpoint it. Any suggestions as to which dealership I should take it to, meaning who is "mod friendly"?

lol yeah I know but it was a good one.

Congrats on busting 600 RWHP, must feel nice. Chris has some catching up to do, he's still stuck a 475 . I might have to turn modular fan if these pushrod guys dont step it up.

BTW: The other odd thing about the nails in the tires is they both happend after long periods of not riding/driving. I went to N.C for wk, come back and have a flat. I did not drive the stang for about a week b/c of cold temps and rain, and notice the tire down flat one day.....werid karma.
