I got almost 3 times that on my bike. high 50s to 60 before the refomulated gas.

Yeah but w/ mine being on the higher end of high performance bikes you tend to give up MPG for performance. Not quite like the crusiers bikes which get really good MPG such as the 50-60's

this sucks
Alright, i'm sure this was due to lack ef experience... but this still blows!

I just bought my first bike (03' RR) on the 3rd of this month. If you can remember when you 1st got yer bike, you always wanted to be on it. That's how I was feeling... until...

I was in Torrance, Ca cruisin w/ a friend when some jack ass in a new mustang punches it to get round me. When he inches in front of me on my left side he swerves in front of me cutting me off BAD. I freak out and slam on the brakes (DUMB, I KNOW). I end up goin down at 55mph, break my wrist in 5 places, stitches in my knee, and in my foot. Im immediately up on my feet watchin my bike slide 200 + ft. down the road on it's side w/ no frame sliders... Talk about heart broken. The mustang slows down, then takes off. What an *******! After the damage was said n done, i find out it's mostly cosmetics with a few small things (i.e. cracked stator cover, & tweaked handle bars). I have about another month till my wrist will be able to recover. Damn I wanted to go to the irvine meet...I only rode 4 4 days! ahhh! I wanna shoot myself. Later guys...

**** you and your gay ****ing bike. no one here cares. Bikes are ****ing gay.

You know another thing I noticed between Bikes and Stangs and another reason why Im glad I have a bike now.

There is no loyalty between Mustang owners. Yeah there is here on this thread but do you know how many times I would see other stangs on the roads, ones that had some sort of work done either exhaust or rims or what not and they would be cluless to another stang being around them, I would not get a wave or a rev or anything. Its almost like if someone saw another car that had better rims or meaner exhaust then their's then they snubed the other driver for it. I guarantee you 100% that ( and this goes for everyone here) that unless you get right beside another GT or Cobra at a light then more times then not they wont even aknowledge that they saw you.

Bikes on the other hand...... I have not ONCE!!! gone past another sportbike w/ out getting a wave, even non sportbikes will give you a wave or a head nod. Not every bike out there will aknowledge you ( non sportbikes) but every single sportbike I have seen since last aug has waved when we went past. The only time I have not done it back was once yesterday when I was in mid lean around a corner on the white bridges road, pretty sure it was a ducati but I did not want to take my eyes of the line I was trying to follow.

Point being....there is no loyalty between Mustang drivers anymore, just a select few, there are to many out there that "just own a Mustang".

Acutally asswipe, I do wave and rev at EVERY other stang I see, even the 6-bangers. Ask my wife. She thinks I'm a retard for doing it, but she doesn't understand. So there is another theory of yours shot down!

No my theory is not shot down you douche bag, if you read my post right you would see that. I Clearly stated that other then the group of stang owners here who else do you see out there that rev's or waves. If you did not do it first how often would you actually get waved at first??? Not very often and dont even think Im wrong on this b/c I saw pleanty of stangs when I had mine, Cobra's, GT's Stock ones modded ones and 8 times out of 10 its like they did not even notice that there was another stang around.

Hey @sshat, why don't you go drive your bike to a biker bar or around a bunch of harleys. You won't get any loyalty or respect. Why don't you just save face and sell it while you can. Cause, I garrentee you will regret buying it some day.
