Lots of 5.0 GT's popping up at the dealerships. Makes me wish I was in the market for one.
I'd wait a while. Because its new the price will be super high just like so many other sub models. Give it time and the price will drop. Plus if you wait a little bit various problems will arise and the fixes will be out there in the next years model.
I would also love to have one.

I saw some radials at Summit that would fit them. Figured out what thickness spacer I will need. I used a couple of washers I had laying around and they were just the right thickness so the rim doesn't hit the caliper. Then I just measured the thickness of the washers.
Haven't had the time to do much else.
When I used some chemicals to clean the oil off the car it did some damage to the clearcoat on one fender. Not real bad but I really notice it plus it did some damage to the the finish on the Jet Hot coating. That was some nasty stuff. It didn't sit long on those surfaces before I hosed it off.

found the source of my oil leak that Ive had for two years now. its the drivers side valve cover. The gasket must not have been good long ago when the cam/TFSR intake were installed. With the edelbrock intake I can see where its coming from on the valve cover, with the TFSR lower you could not see it.

Pretty good chance this is why its leaking from the valve cover. Bought some JB weld to fix it.

Maybe found the leak, it was still leaking after I re did the gaskets last night. Just got done redoing them again and see if anything changes.

its nothing but a regular rain storm. They talked about this stupid thing for a week like it was a cat 5 about to directly hit us and its nothing more then the avg rain storm and no wind to speak of either.

The JB weld worked fine but it still leaks but its not coming through the valve covers. its coming up through the intake on both sides where the heads/intake meet together between the bolt holes.

I thought it was leaking through the VC and pooling up in those spots but its actually coming through the intake. I just ordered a new set of gaskets and Im going to use RTV where the intake makes contact in that area of the head. On a side note I finally got around to installing the side exhaust kit. Just need to get a set of side skirts now.

quite a long time. Its the IAT sensor. I have replaced it and it still throws the code and has the CEL. Pete said the signal for the CEL that was causing it from before the sensor so its not the sensor its self, its somewhere in the wireing. Im working on getting a pair of SVO side skirts

In the process of taking the heads off now. Im getting rid of this oil leak once and for all and that means either fixing the stripped bolt holes (2 of them) in the head where the intake bolts to it or selling them as is and getting a different set. Ive wanted bigger heads for awhile now so these ones are going and Im going to get a set of Trickflow 205CNC heads

well I suspect thats why its been leaking ever since the Cobra intake was taken off. Thats when it became apparent that the bolts were stripped out. After trying every other possible venue its come down to it having to be b/c of those stripped bolts. So Its getting a nice set of upgraded heads to make it a more potent NA set up
