North East SSoM Members!!!

BTW my name's larry and i hope you don't mind me invading your thread, not being a member and all, and asking a bunch of questions. Just hoping to learn something. Also, if you need an extra pair of hands working on your cars, well I'm not a mechanic, but I'd be willing to help just to learn something.

dan usually likes an extra pair of man hands on his equipment. :D

I usually do everything to my car myself. We went to a dyno last summer in Scarboro but it wasn't a place most of us would go back to again.

only reason I would go back is b/c that is the dyno that my baseline is now set at and any mods that I put on from now on out I can tell just how much HP I gained. There is sometimes a big diffrence between 2 diffent dynos. I would like to go to the one in Mass this summer but as far as knowing exactly what I gained for HP I would still go to CM

Hey not a problem, this thread is not just for us but other people that are intersted in the club. Ask any questions that you may have most of us can answer most questions. Except for me, Im just here for mild humor and childish antics.

I'm just here for the great sex  . BTW, I got my build #'s in the mail quite awhile ago, but Katie "filed" it in the cabinet. I was looking for some paperwork from the bank the other night, and I found it. #8331 of a build of 8394 '03 Cobras from the Dearborn assembly line, # 1930 of 2003 10th ann. Cobras.

My Predator is in, it's a really cool device. It allows for gear, tire, o2 sensor, timing, fuel, and many other adjustments on top of the tunes it comes with. It also allows custom tunes via the internet or from an authorized dealer, pretty sweet. Just found out that I won Tri-Ax today on ebay. I am getting it for $155, with free shipping, which really isn't that bad considering a lot of places are asking $179 or more plus shipping.

Hey Dan, I'm loving that Kenne Bell!! Congratulations!!!

As far as working on my car, I do as much as I can myself, but I am not the most mechanically inclined person, nor do I have a lot of tools or a garage yet for that matters. All the mods that I get this year I will put on myself, with some of the others coming over to help and hang out. When it comes to oil changes and such, I just take it to my garage, he's really cheap, and he's a hardcore Mustang guy, so I trust him.

CYA!!!!! :nice:

Was it from Thunder bolt motor sports....that where I got my Steeda Tri Ax from.

No, it was from someone else. I did however get a shifter knob from Thunderbolt, but they sent me the wrong color knob. They have yet to resolve the issue after several e-mails, so I am hoping that's not a sign i'm stuck with it.

Hey Dan, how big of a project does it look like as far as time, any ideas? I can't imagine how excited you must be, it's gonna be a different car. By any chance did you sleep with the Kenne Bell, and give it some "man love"? I know I would, it is a blower after all.....heee, heeee........

Hey guys, what would you say about attending the dyno day at New England Dyno on April 17th? It's 2 consecutive pulls with A/F and all you can eat BBQ. The cost is $40, which is pretty good compared to the last deal we got, and it would be a fun road trip. The signup is a sticky post in this forum, should be pretty cool if anyone wants to go.

Sounds pretty cool but its hard to tell if the cobra will be on the road by then. Depends on the weather. It might be snowing April 17th. Although I'd go along for the ride if yours is out.

yeah it all depends on the weather and what exactly I have a chance to get done on the Stang by then. I cant even get anything done on it until its out of the garage and I can get it over to Chris's place. April 17th seems like a pretty tight dead line, and as a matter of fact Im about 95% sure my car wont be ready yet, but hey I'll go as a spectator as well. Kind of odd that there having a dyno day that early in the spring, alot of cars wont even be out /ready for the summer until May.
