well Chris just called me to say he was out beating on my car and that its holding fine. 4,500 RPM's in second and no signs of slipping, said the exhaust sounds unreal I want to go drive it now . Were aiming to get it all finished up by friday afternoon, if it is then sat is a go for me.

sounds like a inlet leak or vacuum leak......check your hoses. could possible be an IAC valve too, but with all the work done recently, it more likely the 1st 2 I suggested.

Nice #'s Larry!!!! I wouldn't bother trying to spin that thing up to 6800. Just cause you can, doesn't mean you should. RPM's can kill an engine.

Thanks. The only reason I would've had them spin it to 6800 is just cause it was lean on the top end the first pull. When I get on it, I plan on shifting at 6500. But it comes quickly w/ 4.10's.

So Travis, what have you done to the exhaust besides get rid of the header leak? Did you drop the old school FMU and just get bigger injectors?


Time for me to get some new welding cable to wire my altenator to the cut off switch. Something else to do this weekend to the stang.

Was a nice day off I had. Put some goodies in the stang and took it for a little ride. She runs good!!! The low RPM stumble......ALL GONE!!!!! Yessa.
