North East SSoM Members!!!

well not a good night tonight. Crashed the truck on the way home from work. I hit some pretty nasty black ice and it spun the truck all the way around and the flairside part hit a telephone pole smashing in the whole side of the bed of the truck on the passangers side. Im fine did not get hurt at all the the truck is out of commission for awhile. I'll try and post up some pics tomorrow.

I know Im never taking the river road again in bad weather. Ive heard lots of people say how bad it is during bad weather and now I believe it. The road is not crowned right either, there are so many accidents on that road yr round.

It could have been alot worse, I was lucky there was no other on comming traffic when I crossed the road into the other lane before it hit the telephone pole. Im not sure of the damage yet, hopefully progressive will look at it today. I do know its going to need a new rear fender and prob a new rim and tire, the tonneau cover is toast as well, put a big split in that. Hopefully the ins will cover that even though it was an add on to the truck but Im sure it was included in the purchase price when I bought it. In the meantime Im getting a silverado for a rental. I know I'll have to pay $500 for the deductable and the rental fee of $30 a day for the truck but hopefully the money progressive puts up to fix it and the actual cost to fix it off set a little bit and I can get some of that back.

Sorry, to hear about your crash Travis. A least your alright. The phone company has been installing these new types of poles over the last five years. They move around alot, so that's why you hit one. :D . I'am doing a little better. I have oxy's left over and have a prescription for more. I'am off them, thank god. So, I can sell them, if anyone wants some..:)

I found out that I can get a box for my cable. I'll be picking up one at time warner this week so I can watch the UFC at my house. :nice:

I Knew chris would get a better cable set up once he sat at home long enough :D

Here are are a few pics of the crash.

glad your ok bro!!! Did the frame shift?? If not you'll be fine.

BTW..............nice new CT!!

Not sure about the frame, its being taken to the body shop tomorrow to be taken apart and a better damage assestment done so I'll find out then.

BTW: Who gave me that CT anyway  And its not a riced out Honda eitehr :fuss: :fuss: . Everthing that Ive done to it has been in good taste and very common bike mods done. Nothing diffrent from the common thing of exhaust and gears done to Mustangs.

Well just got the '01 tuned. It spun 317/314..was hoping for alittle more but not too bad. Gained 20hp/11tq over the exhaust mods.It still had alittle more in her but need to get new plugs installed first.Next going to get an intake and have 4:10's installed.....
