How about a girl passenger that hit a telephone pole who had a helmet on that had to have the helmet cut off because her head swelled up so much. Do you think that helmet saved her life????
NOPE....

This is the most stupid argument Ive heard. No there would have been no need to cut the helmet off b/c she would have been dead long before then. Im not saying a helmet will save you in every situation. Im saying it can save your life when you need it to. I had a co worker killed 2 yrs ago who wore the proper riding gear, he was on a 2003 CBR 600 RR but when you take a corner at 120 MPH and go off the road it does not matter what you wearing or not wearing, your going to die.

And in my permit class the instructor showed us a helmet where the person that was wearing it was run over by a truck, right over the helmet and the person survived so whats your point?

I never said you will never die by wearing a helmet. Im just saying its ***#*ing stupid not to b/c more times then not it will save your life. You really think you have a better chance of survival from falling off your bike and your head hitting the pavment and not wearing a helmet then you do w/ one on?

Hey Im not the one that started the whole, Bikes are gay, bikes suck..blah blah blah. Just stating facts thats all.


Im not speaking just of myself but more so of someone who is really good at riding a bike, but even w/ that nice pretty KB sitting on top of an 03/04 cobra motor going heads up w/ a sportbike all I can say is good luck.
