is anyone running this cam ...
how do you like it?
did you retard/advance/or line the marks straight up?
what are the advantages or disadvantages of advancing/retarding/or lining straight up?
did anyone get away with not having to notch there pistons(using twisted wedge heads)on a completely untouched stock bottom end?

thanks

I'm running a stage2 in a stock bottom 302 no notching,I installed it straight up and I haven't had any problems with P/V clearance (even with some severe misshifts)using the TFS TW heads you should still clay the pistons cause every engine is diffrent..If I'm not mistaken advancing the cam will lower the powerband and favor torque, retarding the cam will raise the powerband and favor horsepower. If your considering this cam just make sure your springs are up for it...

Now for likes and dislikes the cam pulls incredibly HARD pass redline idles decent around 900rpm,has a real soft spot under 2k and does buck on occasion during low speed cruising..If your stang is mainly a street car 3.73s are perfect but if you want decent track times 4.10-4.30 will put you in the powerband quicker..Hope this helps
