Stalling when coming to a stop.

Ive been having a problem with stalling. I have a holley s.a. 670 and a mildly built 289. TCI streetfighter c4 and tci converter with a slightly higher than stock (300rpm's advertised) stall. When the car is cold or completely warmed up, it stalls when coming to a stop sign. ive been having to do the two foot stop. any ideas, everything is new with less than 300 miles on it. I cant raise my idle anymore, its already almost 950-1000 and I would like to hear my cam a little bit. in neautral its fine, but put her in drive and hold the brake and its gonna stall.

I've had that problem before, but it was because I didn't have enough advance on the car. I put a huge cam in, but due to me being so naive, I set the timing @ 0 degrees.

Might or might not be your problem. It's hard to tell without more specifics on how your engine is set up. It could also be low fuel pressure...it's just hard to tell.
