I have an 89 5.0 GT, that I recentley purchased from a friend, 145k miles. I recentely had a tune up, oil change, spark plugs, fuel filter, new battery, mass air flow sensor, vacuum hose, IAC valve. The car fires right up and sounds great, but will stall out after idling for about 5 minutes. I drove it yesterday and it stalled out after just a mile and would not turn over again. I let it sit for a few hours and it started right up and I was able to drive it home. It had plenty of fuel, Any thoughts on what to look at next

Not start or turn over?
Two very different problems.
Your issue isn't a stall either, stalling usually restarts, this is more of shutting down.

Look for Jrichkers crank no start checklist.

Gotta ask, when you say tune up and list the following:
- mass air flow sensor
- IAC valve

What exactly did you do with the MAF and why did you mess with either of them? Did you pull codes and they were listed as issues?

The ECU should be checked for leaky and corroded capacitors. Mine started failing like that. Just random cutting off. Within a few weeks of that behavior it became a permanent no start. Had to get a refurbished ECU. Any Foxbody that has not already had the ECU repaired or replaced, will need it before too long. It’s the age doing it. Not the usage.
