stalls every now and then when put in gear.

i have a 2000 auto. sometimes when i put it in gear, it stalls. most of the time it just idles down real low for a second and goes back to normal. is this normal with these things. it has 56,000 miles a new fuel filter and clean air filter. i just cleaned the MAF also.

Checked for vacuum leak?

+1 on the IAC since you have already cleaned the MAF and changed the fuel filter. It's a pretty common occurance with these cars.
