Its hard to ask this question in the subject line. When I first start my car it stalls then when I turn it over again it runs fine (I even turn the key in the ignition so I can here the fuel pump go first, then turn over the engine). When I push down on the accelerator It bogs down for a sec then picks right up. What can be causing this? Is it dumping too much gas and sorta floods?
Any advice is welcome :D

My LX alway's did that all of it's n/a days, never could figure out why, never fixed it. We've had it since '89. When I went turbo and put in a turbo computer that deal was gone.

...who knows...

My car kind of does that. Well, when it's cold in the morning I'll start it and it will idle at 2000 before I tap the gas and it idles down normally. But when I go somewhere and shut it off for a few minutes and then go back to start it up, it will jump around at 500 for a few seconds and I'll give it some gas and after a while, it will be ok. Other times, I'll be at a stop light and it will idle kind of high after I have clutched it and stopped, then I'll do the same thing as I did in my driveway(tap the gas) and it will be fine.

I could turn over my car 51835093158103895 times when I first tried to start it in the morning and it wouldnt start... if I gave up and turned it back on and did it, it would turn over the VERY first little click of the starter... after putting in the 255lph fuel pump I didnt have that problem... my guess was when the stock fuel pump primes, it didnt continue to feed fuel, however with my aftermarket pump, it constantly has pressure rather than priming and it then switching to a continuous run... it could be a problem with the fuel pump relay, or tthe fuel pump itself switching from prime to run...
