I dont know if you all remember me when my brother blew up his stang (threw a rod, split the crank, split the block, etc.) Well we ended up buidling up another motor: 302 block stock bore, kb flat top pistons (9.7:1), eagle rods, e7 heads rebuilt, 1.72 roller rockers, arp head bolts, king cobra clutch, stock intake manifold, electric water pump, blah blah blah blah. Misc bolts ons like headers, full exhaust, FPR... etc etc etc. Pulled of a 14.1 first time at the track. Car is good for high 13sec passes.

Now that the season is over... we have decided to rip back into it and looking for more opiions. We have now got a nice set of MT ET tires on the back & crane ignition setup w/ rev limiter. We think the car has 4.30 gears... not sure yet. We are now ditching the e7 heads for aluminum gt40 heads, ditching the stock cam for an e-cam keeping the 1.72 rockers, ditching the speed density setup and swapping to MAF, ditching stock distributor for a mallory or msd, and ditching the stock intake for a cobra gt40 intake maniold setup with a 65mm tb.

Now if you see anything that doesnt look right, I would like your advice. We have the option of going with a 30# injector with matching MAF as a guy on another forum is willing to sell us (entire kit- injectors, heads, intake, tb, maf, rockers) for 1400. But could 30# be to much? We are keeping it NA no power adders.

We are looking for a MAF ECU for an 87. If you have it, pm me. Thanks in advance, Kenny
