I wish I had the OP's problem.....wait..no I don't! I haven't driven my baby in 4 years. I took of the upper intake to clean it up..well one thing led to another and I got side tracked..now here I am 4 years later putting it back together and getting closer to bring her back roaring to life...man I just look like this just thinking about it.

I guess you have to own one to understand
damn right, I am the only foxbody around here thats in any decent kind of shape with some good mods, I flip if I see another nice lookin one, like Ill run the guy down just to chat lol. Its really rare to come across clean modded foxes, everyone loves tacky garbage on their cars, around here at least.
The reason i'm bored with my car is that it's taking me so long to get to where i want to be with it, and it's been in the same state for 2 years now and all i've done is get a new intake and Malory distributor. Things are going to start happening again pretty soon though...new doors and quarter glass, some body work and maybe even paint but we'll see how far i can stretch the money. As for the engine, a rebuild and my heads and a cam are on the way so things should get fun again.

Thats why I do everything cheap or used... By next summer if all goes perfect (never does) I should have a new paint job, 5-lug discs, lowered, 18" Bullitts (deep dish out back), black interior with a rear seat delete, and either an E7 motor with 12 psi from an Strim or a GT40P motor with a 125 shot, both should be well over 400 to the tire and low 11s on the 17" ET Streets (also on Bullitts)!
If you knew how much this was all costing (only buying the street wheels and tires at cost, the rest is cheap) youd hate me!

I know the feeling... Especially when you're coming down the last bit of a BIG project, and all the sudden the sky falls out, and everything goes wrong.... I've felt like just pulling tags, letting it sit all winter, then getting back into it in the spring. Sigh.

I kind of know what you mean. But since I've had the car, the motivation comes and goes, so hopefully it doesnt go for that long for you. Thats one of the nice things about putting it away for the winter, by the time spring comes, I'm itching to get back into her.

shame on you

Rides smoother??? WTF 05 do you own??? Ive owned many cars and our family has 12 right now, and NONE of the 80s cars are even close to the 94 GT we own, let alone the 06 GT we have!
The real problem is that i drove a couple faster Mustangs than my own...one with a 347...so now every time i get in my car it feels slow (even though it's not exactly a rocket anyways). Anyone can get bored with the performance of their car...that's why people modify in the first place. I'm not actually bored with THE CAR but more bored with how it goes.

Cookies should never be DUNKED!!!
That is the reason I am KINDA(only kinda a little tired of the power), I drove an 04 cobra and damn near jizzed myself, the power and the whine is addicting, which is why I am now looking at lightning supercharger on my floor and contemplating an m90 instead for safer boost levels and about to buy a vortech FMU and Crank pulley to get the ball rollin!!!!!85_SS_302_Coupe said:The real problem is that i drove a couple faster Mustangs than my own...one with a 347...so now every time i get in my car it feels slow (even though it's not exactly a rocket anyways). Oh by the way, How many ribs does the stock m90 pulley have, 6,8 or what?
Also, what size crank pulley should I get?
