stang is getting boring..

I drive it to work everyday, rain, sun, cold, etc... I have no carpet, no radio and I can see the road moving under my feet right now. It rattles more than a 1930 Chevy and to make things worse I popped my 16" tires in back and I'm using some spare 14" rims for the back end so the outside looks stupid now.

Am I tired of driving it? Nope :D I am, however, sick of having to use it everyday because I want it to be a weekend only car but my new beater isn't ready yet so I need the stang to take me to work still... Almost 13,000 kms done this summer and not one penny was needed to fix anything :D

I know exactly what you're talking about....thats why i'm on my 7th mustang. I got bored with one and sold it, and repeated that 5 more times!
I dont regret selling any of them because the one i have now is better than all the rest...think about that for a while.
....i think we're the same age too (19)

I also looked up to you guys and your cars. I came on this board for around two years before I bought my Mustang and I remember what alot of your guys cars use to look like and im proud for you guys to have made some killer cars out of what some use to be. Thats probably why I often hang out over here in the 5.0 section even know I own a 4.6 I just love all Mustangs:shrug:

my junk pisses me off allot, and just face it, it sucks hitting potholes with the g.f. and her mom in the car, its quite embarassing.

about every 2 or 3 days i stop and say hot damn i love my car. these cars have so much soul to them, they dont get old really. just hang on to yours and keep it, things will get better. dont drive it for like a month, youll be so tired of that s10.

i only get to drive my car from april/mayish till august 31st b/c of college. I never get sick of driving it...EVER. it always makes me happy. But nagging problems always piss me off, but they are fun to fix usually, so long as you have a friend and some beers to help.

I dont get bored with my car, I've had it for about a year and a half, and I sit outside and have a smoke and just look at it. Its not a show car, I get lots of compliments on it, but its my car. I've wanted it since I was seven, its mine. I just look in adoration.

I'm that weird guy that sees the car and just loves everything about how the fox mustangs look. The boxiness, the plain interior, the rough ride, the loud exhaust, the tailpipes, everything, really. Maybe I'm an outcast on that end but everything about the car I love.

I also dont get tired of the power, even though its a stock engine, mostly attributed to the reason that I never get on it. Its driven slowly and carefully, that way its taken care of, and when I do get on it (mind you very very rarely) it still feels like it has balls. Love em.

I don't get bored...but keeping it clean and changing little things is oftem what I spend time doing...putzing with it is what I really enjoy, that's why I bought it. Fun factor is definately there...she's a blast on the street, but it's hard to overlook the decible level, fumes, and general harshness of the ride when driven often. I'm fortunate to have the 04 vert and the 4.6 is a great little daily and top down wins out more often than not when the weathers nice. Would I sell...been there, backed out, won't try it again, she's part of our family and a great accomplishment IMO...proud of the results.

Yea man, i love mine but i know how you feel. Like when i drove it from arizona to washington i was like **** this. Then the next morning i wanted to drive it. I remember when my friend got a 5.0 and i didnt even know how i knew it was a 5.0 but i just looked at it and fell in love. Eventually i got that first 5.0 i saw. But i remember bein in class of highschool not wanting to wait because i wanted to drive it so bad.
